random commentary

Thursdays rock. You know why Thursdays rock? Because I have one class, and then I'm done. No work. No meetings. Just one class that I can attempt not to sleep through and then a full day of blessed freedom to whatever the heck I want. Like eating Chinese. Or laying around the library listening to music. Or watching a movie. Or going to the gym. All of which are sounding fun right now, but first I have to live through class and hope that my prof didn't decide to push the lab date up since we're not having the mid-term today.

In other news, I now have an internship for the summer. I will be spending my summer researching and cataloguing the items in the Historical Society's collection, and will hopefully be able to hold down a part-time job at the same time. I also have my eye on a car, though no license yet.

In other other news, my muse has gone off to Victorian London and refuses to come home. She won't talk to me about my Star Wars fic, nor anything else I've been working on - just insists that there are gaslights, and horses, and Sherlock Holmes. And that's all she'll say. No plotlines as such. Not even useful drabble material. I think she got into one of the opium dens and hasn't quite stopped chasing the dragon yet.

  • Mood: Dead
  • Listening to: David singing Giraffe in my Loft
  • Reading: Here Be Dragons
  • Watching: Lots of Sherlock Holmes videos
  • Playing: Alchemy and Mahjongg
  • Eating: nothing right now. Maybe Chinese later
  • Drinking: DEW!!!!!
